Founded in 1985 by Robert Shopneck, Pinetree Financial has been serving Colorado real estate investors for nearly 40 years. What started as a small family office has grown into one of Colorado's most trusted hard money lending firms.

Andy Shopneck
Principal Underwriter & Closer
A Colorado native and Regis Jesuit high school alum, Andy graduated from Connecticut College and received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Before joining Pinetree in 2013, Andy served as a deputy district attorney for Denver, where he developed the problem-solving and analytical skills that make him an excellent underwriter and closer.
Chris Shopneck
Principal Loan Officer & Underwriter
A Colorado native and Denver East and Colorado College alum, Chris brings a unique perspective to real estate investing and lending. Starting in 2008 during the recession, Chris has worked through both challenging and booming market cycles, giving him valuable insights into how to structure deals that work in any economic environment.
